Our brand new Ball Joint Weedeater Beam is built to the highest standard and has the following features.

Needle roller outer bearings with grease nipples and 4 outer grease seals. Billet bearing carriers for perfect bearing fit. Urethane inner bearings for long maintainance free life. Billet upper shock mount to support top shock rubber bush. Installed steering pin. (standard Bay window part for future replacement). Adjustable idler arm stops. Dual steering damper mount to fit on either LHD or RHD bus. Dual servo mount to fit either LHD or RHD bus. Dual CE top quality adjustors with correct tensile locking screw for maximum safety. Acid etch primered and powder coated gloss black for lasting good looks.

This beam will fit all Bay window buses 69-79. It was also fit all Splitscreen buses 54-67. We do not recomend any ball joint bus to be lowered more than 4″/ 100mm . At this point you will still have a usable amount of suspension travel left on your ball joints. Dropping a bus beyond this amount will result in a poor ride with little or no suspension. This can result in ball joint faliure which could mean loss of steering brakes and control. DO NOT DO IT.

Installation of this product should only be carried out by someone with sound automotive knowlage and experience preferably in Aircooled VWs. If in doubt use a proffesional.
