An alternator is qualitatively better than a DC generator and is not only longer, but the battery is recharged faster. In some models this beetle alternator factory assembled, but you still have a 12 volt DC generator and you’re the slow loading your old alternator sat or had already broken, replace it with an AC one. This kit comes complete including new A-quality alternator, voltage regulator, alternator support strap and back plates.
